Thank you for offering to give of your time and heart to pray for the intentions of our Bishop O’Connell School Community and loved ones. Fr. McShurley encourages us to heed St. Louis de Montfort's instruction to offer up our prayers always along with all the intentions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, so that no need will go without prayer and no prayer will go without Mary's perfecting touch. By praying with and for each other, we also grow in our personal faith, hope and charity.
Prayer requests will be gathered into a single email that is sent to your inbox on Wednesdays along with suggested prayers. You are invited to use the included prayers or to pray as your heart directs at a time of your choosing.
If you have a prayer request for someone please obtain permission before submitting their name. At times an individual needs to remain anonymous and, in that case, please let us know and we will pray in general for them as a relative or friend of a Prayer Connection member. You are encouraged to forward a copy of the Prayer Connection email to the person for whom you asked us to pray so they will know how we are praying for them.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on Fridays will be offered for all the intentions of the DJO Community.
